3 ON 3 LEAGUE / TOURNAMENT RULES Number of Players • Each team may consist of a maximum of 5 players, 2 subs, and a minimum of 3 players. A team may have only 3 players on the court at any time. All games must start with at least 3 players on each team. Any number of players (1, 2, or 3) may complete a game. You are also allowed 2 alternates.
The field used for 3v3 soccer is smaller than the standard pitch, and it typically stands at 30 yards wide by 30 yards long. Smaller goals are also used than in standard soccer games, and typically there's no keeper; whoever reaches the goal first can defend the goal without using their arms.
It's 3 on 3 with two 10 minute halves. 5 Mississippi with 1 blitz, 3 downs to score, blocking is allowed. The field is not big - it's a backyard about 40 yards long, 15 yards wide.
